Executive - Marketing - Education (2-5 yrs)
POSITION DESCRIPTION IN BRIEF
Marketing Executive would be responsible for improving the visibility, creating desired perception of Jayn Knowledgeum schools by implementing an effective marketing and communications plan. This individual would be responsible for marketing activities in order to attract new students, publicise strengths of school academics, and promote Jayn Knowledgeum schools to external stakeholders.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Branding and Marketing
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager to execute branding campaigns in alignment with the overall strategy and budget
- Participate in PR activities
Identify and participate in relevant events, exhibitions both nationally and internationally to enhance visibility of Jayn Knowledgeum
Market intelligence
- Work with Marketing Manager in carrying out micro market research/ assessment of each market in which the schools are being established
- Gather information on competitor schools and programmes, branding and marketing exercise undertaken by them, their expansions plans, partnerships forged by them
- Understand gaps in the market offerings and design & implement an appropriate positioning strategy
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential :
- Proven working experience as Marketing Executive
- A thorough knowledge of contemporary marketing methods including an ability to utilize modern technologies and platforms to market effectively
- Experience in marketing communications/ market research
- Excellent communication skills, including high standards of written communication
- An ability to execute the plan effectively
Desirable:
- A post graduate degree specializing in Marketing
- Experience of having designed and executed marketing plans in a start-up
- Experience in a similar position in an educational institution/ network of educational institutes
