Executive/Manager - Social Media (2-6 yrs)
Job Description: Social media Manager - Work from home
You will be responsible for managing the social media marketing mandate for the company, across its multiple identities, communities & channels/platforms. You will build & lead a team of young dynamic social media marketing enthusiasts, with the key objective to transform the company into an engagement-focused & customer-first brand.
Key responsibilities :
- Manage company brand equity across all social media channels & platforms
- Create & implement the overall social media plan for the company in line with the brand objectives, with an equal focus on individual communities and the relevant business objectives.
- Work with creative & content teams/agencies to generate engaging yet relevant content for the various user segments - across formats & social media platforms
- Ensure that company brand identity and tonality is maintained across all communities, no matter how different the content pegs may be.
- Continuously track & monitor engagement levels & community size (follower counts), to identify opportunities and weaknesses and further implement swift tactical plans to address them.
- Be on top of trends on the internet and capitalize on it by minimizing turnaround time and publishing content on platforms like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
- Benchmark performance against the most reputed and loved brands across the social media universe, and not just within the health & wellness industry
- Constantly audit & monitor activities of competing brands, both direct & indirect, and map against our own action roadmap, to identify positioning & perception shifts, if any.
- Work on campaign ideas with the larger marketing team, that can be led social first, and further work with cross-functional teams to ensure a successful outcome
- Lead the overall social media team and guide them on & work closely with the digital marketing team, and transfer knowledge for best practices in performance marketing across all social media platforms
- Connect & coordinate with users, to source and curate content for transformation stories, and further work with the creative team.
Who you are:
- Social media aficionado, who is always-on and connected 2 years+ of relevant social media marketing experience in a brand/agency ecosystem - with preferably the last 2 years in a consumer tech brand
- Trendspotter, has a knack for catching in early on emerging online trends and has the ability to leverage them for meaningful brand / social campaigns
- Passionate about a user-first approach, and works backward to fulfil need gaps
- Is intrigued by cultural & lifestyle shifts in society, and constantly questioning the why of consumer behavior
- Is able to focus equally on different user segments, and identify powerful insights simultaneously from each of them
- Not shackled by restricted thinking, but rather dares to have a creative perspective, Eye for all great things design, Creative story-teller, high on EQ
