Executive/Manager - Business Development - Interior (2-3 yrs)
An international wooden flooring company having offices in 21 locations worldwide and expanding rapidly is looking to hire a 'Business Development Executives/ Manager' for its offices in Mumbai.
Job Responsibilities:
- The BDM is responsible for maximizing sales potential & achieving sales target for the company in India, in an assigned territory.
- Attain company's India product sales target in the assigned territory with the focus on high end residential segment.
- Work with ASM-Mumbai to develop strategic and tactical plans to ensure development of assigned territory. Manage the sales cycle and drive to close, ensuring that sales target is achieved. Implement and drive company's India sales programs within the assigned territory.
- Account mapping of each account in the assigned territory is imperative. To build and maintain long-term working relationship with every individual in the account map.
- Develop sales through broad based sales activities/responsibilities that include but are not limited to the following:
- Attending sales enquiries generated by the office and presenting company's product range and offerings to designers/clients.
- Developing your own leads and enquiries
- Site visits and assessments prior to sending quotation.
- Preparation and following up of quotations, enquiries.
- Closing of enquiries.
- Project and contract administration including account receivables.
- Maintain - ownership of the customer- through material delivery, installation and post-installation service to the end user.
- Maintain all customer information as it relates to sales activity, including but not limited to: prospecting, qualification, funnel management and forecasting within designated territory.
Related Experience:
- Minimum Graduate with good writing and verbal communication skills in English & Hindi.
- Good additional verbal communication skills in Marathi & Gujrati would be preferable.
- 2-3 years of direct sales experience, preferably interior / architectural products. Strong track record of sales success. Fresher with right attitude towards field sales would also be welcome.
- Experience dealing with architects, interior designers & contractors.
- Experience in a strategic and complex selling environment.
- Ability to describe benefits of products.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to understand customer needs and translate into a business solution- consultative sale.
- Strong Computer skills, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills.
- Excellent Presentation skills.
- Candidate having own mode of transportation (bike/car) would be preferred.
- Ability to read and understand architectural drawings (i.e. floor plans, elevation drawings in AutoCAD) and interpret specifications will be an added advantage.
