Executive - Inside Sales - EduTech (2-8 yrs)
- Asks probing/discovery questions on outbound calls to assess customer needs and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Builds rapport with Faculty and Librarians in the designated region.
- Verifies customer requests to ensure that the Single Sales Objective meets the company criteria and passes on the lead to the respective Account Manager.
- Reviews and applies information from internal communication platforms regarding new products, market conditions, and competition to stay current and operate in the best interest of the customer.
- Detect and assess potential in the segment.
- Help qualify leads and organizes meetings for Account Managers (virtual) to progress the sale.
- Coordination with Client Relationship Managers, Account Managers, and Specialists in the region.
- Proficient to handle calls over call center software.
Requirements :
- We are seeking a target-oriented Inside Salesperson (telesales) who will be the liaison between the company and academic institutions, will be able to effectively introduce and present ebooks and company products and services
- Responsible for generating sales leads and promoting ebooks and company products and services.
- Must have excellent communication and people skills.
- Must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone and via WebEx or MS Teams.
- Co-ordinate with customers and arrange meetings for the Account Managers / Regional Sales Manager / Sales Leadership.
- Should have strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills. Collaborator and team-player
- Develop strategy and action plans for achieving sales targets. Result-oriented enthusiastic approach.
- Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
- Obtaining and updating lists of individuals' contact details
- Events - Organise events including logistics and support for local events. Attend and facilitate the exhibits as needed. Summarize and report on results. Social Media - Identify bloggers and social media activists to help share company content. Monitor and report on localized alerts and social media activity. Campaigns - Localize & implement segment/product campaigns in coordination with a marketing specialist. Speaking Opportunities - work with local sales team to identify key speaking opportunities, notify business unit colleagues and assist with submissions
Desired candidate profile and expected skills :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Equivalent experience should include working for an EdTech company or in the consulting, research, or data services industries developing and qualifying new leads for Sales.
- Ability to handle a high volume of telephone calls and emails to meet productivity and utilization targets.
- Ability to multi-task using various systems to address customer needs.
- Strong computer proficiency, including with Microsoft Office applications - PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to integrate and analyze multiple data sources.
- Capable of working independently as well as in a team.
- Well organized with experience in managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to use initiative and work independently.
- Bilingual (English and a regional language where the role is based).
- Must have a dedicated and secure workspace with ethernet access to high-speed internet.
