Job Title: Inside Sales - Telecaller

Location: Mumbai

Team Size: 4 (2 females and 2 males)

Compensation: Average package of 30-40k per month (up to 50k per month based on experience and performance)

Role Overview:

We are looking for motivated Inside Sales Telecallers to join our team in Mumbai. This team will focus on outbound and inbound sales calls targeting educational institutions and alumni, leveraging specific databases to drive conversions.


- The role requires strong communication skills and a proactive approach to building connections and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Outbound and Inbound Sales Calls:

- Conduct outbound sales calls to educational institutions from a curated database, aiming to convert leads into partnerships.

- Handle inbound calls from alumni and potential educational partners, providing detailed product/service information and addressing queries.

- Manage alumni conversion calls, focusing on re-engagement and relationship-building to promote relevant offerings.

Database Management and Conversion:

- Utilize institution and alumni databases to target specific audiences, tailoring communication to enhance engagement and conversion rates.

- Keep accurate call records, update CRM systems, and maintain databases with detailed notes on customer interactions and feedback.

Language and Cultural Adaptation:

- Each team member must be fluent in English and Hindi. Additionally, each team member should be proficient in one of the following languages to serve regional customer needs:

- Telugu

- Kannada

- Marathi

- Tamil

- Leverage language skills to communicate effectively with a diverse audience, considering cultural nuances to optimize engagement.

Sales Target Achievement:

- Work collaboratively to meet or exceed monthly sales targets.

- Adapt sales tactics based on real-time customer feedback and individual performance metrics.

- Contribute to team discussions, providing insights and strategies for improved conversions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Minimum 6 months of experience in telecalling, inside sales, or customer service, preferably in the education sector.

- Strong verbal communication skills in English and Hindi, along with proficiency in one additional language as listed.

- Proven ability to build rapport, handle objections, and close sales over the phone.

- Knowledge of CRM systems and basic computer proficiency.

- Goal-oriented, with a positive attitude and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.
