Executive - Field Sales - IT Software (2-5 yrs)
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Executive with prior experience in IT software sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building client relationships, and achieving sales targets. This is a target-based role that requires strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of IT software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and field visits.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term business growth.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
- Understand customer needs and provide customised IT software solutions.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets within specified deadlines.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, quotes, and contracts.
- Collaborate with the marketing and technical teams to optimize sales strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress using CRM tools.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market feedback.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in IT software sales.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of IT software solutions, cloud services, SaaS, and enterprise software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel to meet clients as required.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools.
