Job Description :
The Sales Development Manager (SDM) will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth through the Agency Channel. The SDM will recruit, train, and develop a team of advisors to achieve sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction. The job requires a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to develop effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities :
Recruit and train advisors : Identify potential advisors, conduct interviews, and select suitable candidates to join the agency team. Train new advisors on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company policies and procedures.
Drive sales and revenue growth : Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Monitor sales performance of advisors and provide coaching and support to improve performance.
Ensure customer satisfaction : Ensure customer satisfaction by providing prompt and efficient service, addressing customer queries and complaints, and maintaining a positive relationship with customers.
Team management : Manage and develop a team of advisors to ensure they are motivated and aligned with company goals. Provide regular feedback, coaching, and recognition to help them achieve their targets.
Compliance : Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records and submit reports as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and manage a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good understanding of insurance products and services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
- Willingness to travel as required
