Executive - Business Development - Telecom (2-6 yrs)

As a business development executive, you'll need to:
- Research organizations and individuals and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas and customers, and most importantly, new ways of reaching existing markets
- Seek out the appropriate contact in an organization
- Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
- Interact with customers /clients over the phone
- Foster and develop relationships with customers /clients
- Have a good understanding of the businesses' services and be able to promote them to the customers /clients
- Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet them
- Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
- Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to achieve set targets
- Arrange meetings for leadership/management with customers /clients
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones
- Build long-term relationship with customers /clients.
Business development executive requirements:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with proficiency in English
- Proven working experience as a business development executive or a relevant role
- Experience in inside sales to the US market with proven sales track record
- Market knowledge an added advantage
- Work long hours and able to work US timings, till early morning in India
- Ability to build rapport
- Time management and planning skills
- Ability to manage difficult customers and multi-task
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM
- Energetic and self motivated with 3-8 years experience.
