Executive - Business Development - Sheet Metal (2-5 yrs)
Responsibilities:
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Identify and research potential customers within the target market.
- Generate leads through various channels, including cold calls, emails, and networking.
Client Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Understand client needs and offer tailored solutions based on the company's sheet metal products.
Product Knowledge:
- Develop a deep understanding of the company's sheet metal products, including specifications, features, and applications.
- Be able to communicate technical details to potential clients effectively.
Sales and Negotiation:
- Present and promote sheet metal products to potential clients.
- Negotiate terms and conditions, pricing, and contracts.
- Close sales deals and achieve sales targets.
Market Analysis:
- Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and industry developments.
- Provide feedback to the company on customer preferences and market demands.
Customer Support:
- Provide post-sale support to customers, addressing any inquiries, issues, or concerns.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
Travel:
- Extensive travel within the assigned territory to meet with clients and prospects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, or a related field (sometimes relevant industry experience may be considered).
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the sheet metal industry or a related field.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong product knowledge and technical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven.
