Executive - Business Development - Sanitaryware (1-3 yrs)
The Business Development Field Executive plays a crucial role in the growth and success of B2B sanitaryware/PVC category in our B2B ecommerce startup in building materials. The primary responsibility is to establish and maintain strategic partnerships with suppliers while onboarding new buyers to meet GMV targets. This role requires a combination of strong sales and relationship-building skills, industry knowledge, and a results-driven approach.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supplier Relationship Management:
- Identify potential suppliers of Sanitaryware/PVC and establish strong relationships with them. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of partnership to ensure competitive advantage. Continuously engage with suppliers to address their concerns, resolve issues, and maintain long-term partnerships.
2. Buyer Onboarding and Relationship Management:
- Prospect, identify, and onboard new buyers to expand the customer base.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and negotiations to effectively communicate the value proposition. Understand buyer requirements, provide customized solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction. Build strong relationships with buyers, serving as their primary point of contact for all business-related inquiries.
3. Achieving GMV Targets:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize billing from existing buyers and drive revenue growth.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and operations, to optimize the customer journey and enhance sales effectiveness.
4. Market Research and Competitor Analysis:
Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape in the building materials sector. Inform on competitor strategies, pricing models, and marketing initiatives to develop a competitive advantage.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Minimum Qualification: Graduate
2. Minimum 6 months and above experience in sanitatyware/PVC sales with OEM or Distributor or E-commerce companies.
3. Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively engage with suppliers and buyers.
4. Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
5. Ability to work independently, adapt to a fast-paced startup environment, and thrive in a target-driven atmosphere.
