Executive - Business Development/Sales - Travel Package (3-5 yrs)
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify trends & opportunities in the tour operator's segments.
- Target and acquire new tour operator clients, negotiate terms and agreements to establish mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Conduct frequent travel to various states in India & Work closely with tour operators to create customized packages aligned with their target market and business goals.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials for focused segments.
- Achieve sales targets from the Tour operator's segments across India.
- Explore upselling opportunities and additional revenue streams.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build a network of potential clients and stay informed about industry trends.
- Gather feedback from tour operators to improve services and address issues promptly.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the tourism and entertainment industry.
- Strong understanding of the away market, tour operators, travel agent market, and inbound tourist segment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets
