Executive - Business Development - Retail (2-5 yrs)
Business Development Managers (BDE)
- These BDEs are required to meet SMEs based on the appointments generated through the TMEs assigned to a Geographic Territory
- Their primary roles with the client are
Reaching on Time based on the client's preference
Have market data & the competition knowledge to suggest the customer with business ideas and unique selling propositions offered by JD
Understand the industry / business model / customer requirement and expectations before pitching the right product
Creating an urgency in the sales deal and also providing all the financial alternatives to ease the customer in the payment for the contract
Focus on lead generation and networking skills to gain more customer base and do cold calling
Proper follow ups for better customer relationship and also for renewals
- Now on larger perspective key aspects they have to
Meet a minimum of 6 - 8 appointments per day
Daily three times report to managers on his prospects and follow-up status
Have to close a minimum of 30 - 40 contracts in a month
Have to meet SMEs from different industry
Face challenging situations during the discussion with clients (harsh treatment / languages used)
