Executive - Business Development - Logistics Firm (0-1 yrs)
- This is a night shift job where in you would be working in US times.
- A Executive Business Development serves as a communication between shippers and carriers to secure the transportation of goods.
Responsibilities :
- Revenue generation and Account management.
- Generating leads and attracting new prospects and developing a sales pipeline.
- Identifying and selecting reputable and safe carriers for freight services.
- Providing customers with shipping quotes.
- Booking orders with carriers.
- Maintaining current knowledge of market trends in the transportation marketplace.
- Closures and managing end to end sale cycle.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 6 months of work experience in logistics only
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Outstanding people skills.
- Proficient negotiating skills.
