Executive - Business Development - Logistic Firm (2-5 yrs)
Candidate Requirement :
Lead generation - identify prospects, meet potential customers & gather requirements.
Proposal - understand lane wise costs, work out pricing, prepare proposal, seek approval from reporting manager & share it with customers
Prospect conversion - Follow up with customers, organize advanced discussion meetings, work towards closing deals
Market and Competition insights - Collect and share within ER team all market inputs w.r.t. competition, customers, pricing, solution offering, vendors etc.
Identify - Areas of opportunity and expand scope of ER in solutions offering with Backward or Forward extension of services offered.
Problem / Opportunity Identification - Think innovatively to identify logistics problems, challenges or opportunities that exists with customer and work with internal stakeholders in creating, developing and designing solutions / offerings / working models.
Customer onboarding - Agreement sign off, share & get specific required documents, onboard customer in system, share point of contacts & escalation matrix
Grow customer revenues - periodic customer meetings, explore business opportunities in new lanes, additional business in existing lanes & propose for the same.
Customer relationship management - Conduct periodic business reviews with customers, seek feedback & areas of improvements, communicate it to necessary stakeholders & own the process change implementation.
Invoicing - check the generated invoices, ensure that the required PODs are captured & all supporting docs are annexed. Invoice submission & acknowledgement
Collection - check all outstanding invoices, follow up with customers for payments & ensure that the cash hits account.
Reconciliation - invoice level reconciliation, identify potential payment disputes & work towards resolving the same.
Candidate Profile
Qualification - Graduate
Experience - Sales / Business Development experience of 3-5 years in Parcel, Road Express, 3 PL industry
PR Skills - Relationship management and driving key account management
Target Achievement - A key requisite for candidate in ensuring that all sales targets, business goals and KPIs are achieved
Behavioral Skills - A go getter, aggressive and eye to detailing is must
Technical skills - Use of Ms - office tools viz. Email, MS-Excel, Powerpoint & word is must.
