Executive - Business Development - Kitchenware (1-5 yrs)

Position Summary :
- We are looking for a young and smart candidate for the role of Business Development Executive in their Contract Manufacturing Department.
- Broad responsibilities for the role will include market research, new business acquisition, client servicing and data management.

Compensation (CTC p.a.) :2.5 to 3.5 Lac
Key Responsibility Areas :
- Technical Market Research (40%)
1. Research & Analyse new market trends for Homeware and Kitchenware industry in international market.
2. Research & Identify new potential customers through LinkedIn, web, etc.
3. Evaluate buying patterns and decision making of other players in market.
4. Research on innovative ideas to increase sales and improve customer experience.
New Business Acquisition (25%) :
1. Generate new leads by identifying the decision-makers and screen potential business opportunities.
2. Contact potential customers via email, cold call, LinkedIn, etc. to schedule meetings.
3. Understand the businesses and the product offerings to be able to advise others about them.
4. Assist in development of proposals and presentations for new business customers to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships.
Client Servicing (10%) :
1. Contact customers to inform them about new product developments.
2. Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients.
3. Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the given time period.
Database Management (10%) :
1. Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide reports.
2. Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain in CRM software.
3. Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
Others (5%) :
1. Assist in preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales display.
2. Maintain inventory data and ensure samples are packed properly and delivered on time.
3. Assist in preparing monthly MIS reports.

Functional Skills :
1. Hands-on knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
2. Working knowledge of CRM software will be added advantage.
3. Ability to conduct market research and develop connections.

1. Strong with written and verbal English communication.

3. Self-driven and highly motivated.
