Executive - Business Development - IT Solutions (2-4 yrs)
- As a Business Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our educational technology solutions. You will be responsible for identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships, expanding our client base and promoting our innovative products and services within the education sector.
Responsibilities :
- Market Research and Analysis : Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for growth within the education & EdTech sector. Analyze competitor offerings and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.
- Strategic Partnership Development : Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, government bodies, and industry partners. Develop and execute strategic partnership initiatives to enhance the reach and impact of our EdTech solutions.
- Client Acquisition : Generate and qualify leads through targeted outreach, networking, and collaboration with marketing teams. Conduct product & service presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value proposition of our EdTech solutions. Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing deals.
- Product Promotion and Positioning : Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling promotional materials and campaigns. Develop and implement strategies to position our EdTech products effectively in the market.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with product development, customer success, and support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. Provide feedback from the market to inform product enhancements and feature development.
Qualifications :
- Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing & sales, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Experience : Proven track record of success in business development or sales with minimum 3-4 years of experience in working as a BDE within education industry.
- Interpersonal Skills : Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with diverse audiences. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong understanding of the education sector and awareness of emerging trends in educational technology.
- Tech-Savvy : Comfortable using technology and familiar with educational technology platforms. Knowledge of MS office is must. Data-driven decision-making and proficiency in using CRM tools.
- Problem-Solving Skills : Proven ability to analyze issues, identify solutions, and implement problem-solving strategies.
- Organization and Time Management : Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
