Executive - Business Development - IT (2-3 yrs)
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Drive revenue and market share in chosen top 20 accounts in a metro city location
2. Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets. Planning of daily tasks, adhering to a schedule is important. The committed volume of tasks, has to be completed, whether through WFH or field work
3. Develop and execute comprehensive account plans
4. Ensure customer satisfaction in complete sales cycle
5. Develop long-term strategic relationships with CXOs in key accounts. Should be able to conduct mass presentations, conducting demos of AWS [amazon web services] solutions
6. Work with OEM /AWS India managers to extend reach & drive adoption. Weekly reviews with AWS teams and planning jointly with our principal OEM, is a major need of this role
7. Manage contract negotiations with customer legal teams
8. Expect moderate travel.
9. Consistently share prospect feedback regarding our services to Leadership team and offer suggestions for additional services to be added to our portfolio.
10. Work closely with Marketing to ensure to help launch account specific plans, workshops, engagement programs.
11. Market Intelligence : Gather info on customer, competition and govt policies. Build account specific databases, contacts through social media, web research. Collect account buying behavior data and knowledge of the domain/industry/govt policies/technology trends.
Requirements :
1. Need Experienced Candidate who comes from direct sales, key account management, cloud computing background. Persons with govt/PSU sales experience can be considered.
2. 0-3 years exp in direct IT product or services sales. Experience should not be a burden or luggage, rather it should be a pointer towards maturity
3. Proven track record of delivering sales pipeline in large enterprise accounts
4. Must have experience in selling Cloud services. Good to have experience in AWS Cloud services.
5. Leadership Skills : proven record of being a team player, speaking binary [precise, concise choice of words] and work in uncertain business environment. Leadership is a behavior and not a formal role in this JD. Sales execs can be groomed to become managers in 2 years- time frame, if they perform well
7. Excellent written and spoken English. Business communication is vital, and we wont conduct English language skills training. This skill must be readily available across all roles.
8. Being able to work independently, build relationships and learn technology through self paced modules. We can hire fresh MBA/BE who don't need monitoring and spoon feeding for every task.
9. Chosen persons have to clear AWS accreditations and certifications such as cloud practitioner.
Desired Skills :
1. Experience working in any IT sales background or have done an internship in IT field
2. Adopt to startup culture and develop sense of ownership for tasks, since we are a young and small company
3. Good knowledge of local language, local city /state-based accounts and established contacts in at least 10 top accounts of your region.
4. Should have sportsman spirit - someone who has played team sports actively in college.
5. Desirable talent : NCC cadets, Contribution to any NGO /social service in personal capacity, artistic talents, photography and stock market investment as a hobby
7. Solution architects [trainees] must be technical consulting-oriented persons with ability to understand deployment architecture, IT landscape, OS/DB/networking concepts, govt tender documents that are known as RFP [for compiling responses], technical demonstrations, conducting proof of concepts for end customers and help sales team in end to end sales cycle.
Education : Graduate (Computer Graduates Preferred) + MBA (IT Sales/Marketing)
Experience : 2-3 years
