We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development professional to lead client acquisition and revenue growth for our recruitment consultancy. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, fostering relationships with clients, and ensuring a steady pipeline of recruitment projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management
- Identify potential clients in target industries and initiate contact through cold calling, networking, and email campaigns.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers (HR managers, CEOs, etc.).
- Understand client recruitment needs and provide tailored staffing solutions.
2. Market Research and Strategy Development
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and recruitment opportunities.
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies to meet revenue targets.
- Stay updated on competitors' activities and market positioning.
3. Proposal and Negotiation
- Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and pricing models to clients.
- Negotiate terms and agreements while ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
4. Collaboration and Reporting
- Collaborate with recruitment teams to ensure seamless execution of client requirements.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on business development activities, pipelines, and performance metrics.
- Use CRM tools to track client interactions and maintain accurate records.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the recruitment/staffing industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a focus on exceeding targets.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in business development or sales (experience in recruitment is a plus).
- Proficiency in CRM software and Google Sheet,MS Office Suite.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Number of new clients acquired per quarter.
- Revenue growth from new and existing clients.
- Client retention rate.
- Timeliness and accuracy of reporting and proposals.
