Executive - Business Development - IT (0-1 yrs)
As a Business Developer within the IT sector, you will be a key driver of growth and strategic expansion for the organization by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities. Your role will involve building and nurturing relationships with clients, understanding their technological needs, and crafting innovative solutions that align with the company's offerings. You will play a critical role in expanding the company's market presence, driving revenue, and fostering long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities :
Market Research and Analysis : Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential clients, emerging trends, and competitive landscape within the IT sector. Use this information to formulate effective business development strategies.
Client Relationship Building : Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their business challenges, goals, and technology requirements, and position the company's solutions as tailored solutions to meet their needs.
Solution Development : Collaborate with the technical team to develop customized technology solutions that address client pain points and deliver value. Create compelling proposals and presentations that articulate the benefits of the company's offerings.
Sales and Lead Generation : Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold-calling, attending industry events, and leveraging online platforms. Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
Strategic Partnerships : Identify and establish partnerships with other organizations, vendors, or service providers to enhance the company's service offerings and create synergies.
Negotiations and Contracts : Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring that agreements are mutually beneficial and align with the company's objectives. Draft and finalize contracts and agreements in collaboration with legal and management teams.
Market Positioning : Develop strategies to position the company as a leader in the IT sector. Create and execute marketing campaigns, presentations, and promotional materials to enhance the company's visibility and brand image.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting : Provide regular updates on business development activities, sales pipelines, and revenue projections. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and make informed decisions.
Customer Feedback : Gather feedback from clients regarding the company's solutions and services. Use this feedback to drive continuous improvement and enhance customer satisfaction.
Industry Trends : Stay up-to-date with technological advancements, industry trends, and regulatory changes within the IT sector. Adapt business development strategies accordingly.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record in business development or sales within the IT sector.
- Strong understanding of IT products, services, and solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
