Executive - Business Development - Insurance (0-3 yrs)
Responsibilities :
- Identify and research potential target markets, industries, and clients to generate new business leads.
- Develop a deep understanding of the company's products or services and effectively communicate their value proposition to potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders through effective communication, networking, and follow-up.
- Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify market trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to develop tailored business proposals and solutions for clients.
- Participate in sales presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions to secure new business deals.
- Develop and implement business development strategies and initiatives to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Track, analyze, and report on business development activities, including pipeline management, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to identify potential business opportunities and competitive advantages.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build brand awareness and expand professional networks.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or related roles, preferably within the same industry or a relevant sector.
- Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and generate new business leads, negotiate and close deals, and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage market insights and data to drive decision-making.
- Self-motivated and result-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a drive to achieve business objectives.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other business development tools.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and industry events as required
