We are hiring for a company engaged in manufacturing and supplying of HDPE Pipe & Fitting, uPVC Pipe & Fitting, uPVC Plumbing Pipe & Fitting and PVC Suction Hoses & Pipe.
The Job
Key responsibilities areas :
- Designing business plans in line with Company's strategy and objectives.
- Working with various stakeholders to ensure business plans are effectively rolled out.
- Driving business efficiency and profitability by identifying and implementing process improvements to optimise performance wherever possible.
- Developing and managing a portfolio of Key Accounts.
- Achieving monthly sales targets by identifying and developing new customers.
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction as well as upsell and cross sell potential within existing customers to maximise share of wallet.
- Coordinating pre-sales and post-sales follow up.
- Achieving and exceeding weekly and monthly KPIs.
- Building strong and collaborative relationships with other internal stakeholders.
- Monitoring market trends and providing regular competitor feedback.
- Identifying opportunities for new business development through following up on leads and conducting research on target clients.
- New business generation by meeting potential clients to understand needs and providing relevant solutions.
- Managing the sales process to close new business opportunities.
- Building strong relationships with the existing portfolio of clients.
- Meeting and exceeding weekly and monthly activity and revenue targets.
- Building the sales funnel generating leads via cold calling, emailing and other lead generation activities.
- Handling incoming queries and building good client relationships.
- Ensuring all leads are well qualified by identifying the correct decision makers and understanding their requirements.
- Handing over qualified leads to the sales teams with the objective of closing the sale.
- Maintaining and updating the lead generation database.
- Achieving weekly/monthly targets as set out by the business.
- End to End Lead management from various search engine sites (Eg. India mart, yellow pages, Just dial, FB, etc.).
- Handling inbound inquires and leads and ensure the same is converted to sales.
- Effective and religious follow-up with B2C as well as B2B customers.
- Research and identify new market opportunities in terms of existing as well new product opportunities.
- Excellent Written & Verbal Communication skills.
Ideal Candidate :
Key Competencies :
- You have at least 1 year experience within a Business Development Executive (Inside Sales), Business Development / Account Manager (B2B) or Inside Sales role, ideally within the Manufacturing industry.
- You have prior experience in dealing with Distributors, Dealers and General Trade / Open Trade.
- You possess solid expertise in Direct Sales.
- Experience within Area Sales, Change Management, National Sales, Startup Experience and -Multi-country Sales would be a strong advantage.
- Experience covering Consumer and Industrial & Manufacturing is strong plus.
- You have a proven track record of meeting/exceeding your targets.
- You have a solid prior experience within Marketing.
- You are a change agent with strong skills in driving change programs within organisations.
- Prior experience within a startup would be a strong advantage.
- You have a solid prior experience within Sales.
- You possess excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
- You possess excellent communication and business-facing skills, are organised and able to multi-task effectively.
- You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments
- You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
- You are a strong networker & relationship builder
