A Leading Travel Industry in Ahmedabad requires Business Development Executive and the responsibilities include
Job Title : Business Development Executive - Ahmedabad
Responsibilities :
- To make new relations with airlines
- To make new relations with hotels
- To manage relationships with existing accounts
- To take revenue and market share enhancing measures
- Drive optimization through close coordination with various internal functional teams.

Skills :
- To do day to day account management and build rock solid relationships with all the accounts in the portfolio
- To scout for demand partners and sign them up for business for India inventory
- Manage complete P/L for the account by taking ownership of variable level pricing and optimize the market share from each partner for room nights as well as GPMs
- Have an analytical bend of mind to study demand consumption patterns and build marketing insights on the same
- Work closely with the Supply team and build product wherever required basis deeper understandings of Partners selling patterns
- Build technology based tools/enhancements to assist partners and make them self sufficient in all needs related to business
- Create Marketing plan to promote destinations on various Partners basis deeper engagement both with internal and external partners
- Cross functional interaction to drive P/L agenda with multiple functions like Contracting, Marketing, Finance and Post Sales etc.
- Continuously look forward to innovate and optimize processes to make them better and partner friendly
- Effective P&L management and growth in business metrics of Room nights, Total transaction value and Profit margins
- Execution of identified projects as per timeline
- Effective cross functional coordination
- Presentational and Documentation skills
- No. of Marketing campaigns/Product enhancing initiatives rolled out and meetings held in a quarter with partners
- Post sales issue handling and Partner grievance management
Key Relationships :
- Internal (i.e. colleagues, other business units) External (i.e. suppliers, customers, service providers)
- Business development Managers, Product Managers, Technology teams, Post sales teams, Marketing, Content, Customer Delight
- Affiliate Partners consuming our inventory
Industry Preference : Hospitality Industry ONLY / Candidates who have worked with travel agencies
Experience : 2 years- overall experience into Hospitality Sales
