Executive - Business Development - FMCG (1-5 yrs)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to drive B2B sales for our FMCG brand. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, distributors, and retailers, and ensure consistent revenue growth in the FMCG sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Target Achievement:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Identify and close new business opportunities within the B2B segment.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with corporate clients, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for B2B customers, providing solutions tailored to their needs.
Market Research and Strategy:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth.
- Develop and execute plans to increase market share and brand visibility in the B2B space.
Negotiation and Contract Management:
- Negotiate terms of agreements, pricing, and contracts with clients to maximize profitability.
- Ensure all contracts comply with company policies and standards.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses for senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
Key Skills and Qualifications :
Educational Qualification : Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience : 2-5 years of proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the FMCG sector.
Industry Knowledge : Deep understanding of FMCG products, market dynamics, and sales techniques.
Sales Acumen : Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Negotiation Skills : Ability to handle high-level negotiations and close deals effectively.
Interpersonal Skills : Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Tech-Savvy : Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office Suite, and digital sales tools.
Mobility : Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and market visits.
