Executive - Business Development - Financial Services (2-4 yrs)
To drive business growth by identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and building relationships with potential clients, while working closely with the Managing Director.
Role includes:
Pre-Sales and Lead Generation:
- Research: Understand the private equity landscape, create curated lead lists, and identify the best opportunities
- Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and referrals
- Generate high-quality leads through emailing, and social media outreach
- Qualify leads to ensure they meet the company's criteria and are a good fit for its services
- Build relationships with potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
CRM Management:
- Manage the company's CRM system to track leads, opportunities, and client interactions
- Update CRM records accurately and in a timely manner
- Analyze CRM data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Business Development and Growth:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve growth targets
- Collaborate with the Managing Director to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic plans
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking meetings to represent the company and identify new business opportunities
Reporting and Administration:
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, lead generation, and sales performance
- Maintain accurate records of business development activities, including emails, calls, and meetings
- Perform administrative tasks as required, such as data entry and document preparation
- Plan and manage email campaigns
- Manage travel and conferences
Skills & Qualification:
- 2 years of work ex preferred with similar insider sales experience
- Strong understanding of the financial services industry
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications
- MBA from top university
