Executive - Business Development/Field Sales - IT (2-4 yrs)
The role of a Business Development Executive is to be the front line to the Field Sales team by actively prospecting via cold calls and emails to build a healthy sales pipeline with a focus on defined target segments. The Business Development Executive will work with a defined process to nurture accounts through various stages and warm them up in the sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities :
Nurture leads and opportunities to ensure the company is the partner of choice when customers are ready to buy or evaluating
- Identify new opportunities for the sales team through targeted outbound cold calling
- Liaise and work with the field sales team to build and grow the sales pipeline of qualified
opportunities to support their revenue targets and quota
- Engage and nurture prospects to build curiosity in the company's products, elicit interest to evaluate them and harness the buying intent of decision makers and influencers
- Present the value proposition clearly and succinctly
- Build custom elevator pitches to arouse interest among prospects
- Educate prospects on how our products and services can fulfill their current and future needs
- Identify and map pain points to our products and services
- Track and report key campaign metrics following set cadence and processes
