Job Description:
- As a Business Development Executive at Ionage, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our business by identifying new opportunities and expanding our customer base.
- You will be responsible for generating leads, managing client relationships, and closing deals to help us increase market share in the rapidly evolving electric vehicle charging sector.
- Your ability to understand market trends, communicate the benefits of our solutions, and negotiate effectively will be key to achieving success in this role.
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects run smoothly and clients receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Market Expansion: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the EV charging industry, including potential clients, partners, and markets.
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and drive revenue growth. Promote and sell our EV charging solutions to key decision-makers.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service and fostering customer loyalty.
- Market Research & Trends: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments in the EV charging ecosystem to identify new opportunities.
- Negotiation & Deal Closure: Lead negotiations, draft proposals, and close deals with clients and partners while ensuring profitable business terms.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with marketing, technical, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of projects and customer satisfaction.
- Reporting & Analysis: Track and report on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends to provide actionable insights for business strategy.
- Brand Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade - shows to promote products and services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales with min 1-2 years' experience in business development or sales, preferably in the renewable energy, electric vehicle, solar, real estate or automotive industries.
- Minimum understanding of the EV charging industry, electric vehicles, and related technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with CRM, Excel tools to manage leads is preferred,
- Existing network in the EV, energy, solar, or related industries
