Executive - Business Development - EduTech (1-3 yrs)
Role : Business Development Executive
- We are seeking a dynamic and results oriented EdTech Business Development Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and technology, with a proven track record of driving sales in the EdTech industry. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, perform market research & building relationships with key stakeholders in the education sector, and driving revenue growth for our company.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Identify and target key decision-makers in schools, universities, and other educational institutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition of our EdTech solutions.
- Collaborate with product development teams to refine sales strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, and ensure a seamless transition to the account management team.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for management review.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our products and services.
- Continuously seek feedback from clients to improve products and services and enhance the overall customer experience.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Education, or related field.
- 1+ years of experience in business development & sales preferably within the education technology industry
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand complex technical concepts and effectively communicate them to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently, self-motivated and driven to achieve targets and exceed expectations.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
