Business Development Executive - University & College Partnerships

Experience: 1-3 Years (Preferred in EdTech, B2B Sales, or Institutional Partnerships)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to drive the onboarding of universities and colleges onto our platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, approaching, and building strong partnerships with educational institutions to integrate our services. Prior experience in EdTech, institutional sales, or higher education partnerships is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify and reach out to universities, colleges, and educational institutions for collaboration.

2. Develop and execute strategies to onboard institutions onto our platform.

3. Conduct meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to key decision-makers, including Deans, Directors, and Administration Heads.

4. Build long-term relationships with university officials, faculty, and training departments.

5. Negotiate and close partnership agreements in line with company goals.

6. Work closely with internal teams (marketing, operations, and product) to ensure smooth onboarding and engagement.

7. Monitor and analyze market trends, competitors, and partnership opportunities in the education sector.

8. Maintain accurate records of outreach, meetings, and progress in CRM tools.

9. Represent the company at seminars, conferences, and education fairs to strengthen brand presence.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

2. 1-3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or institutional partnerships.

3. Strong knowledge of the higher education sector, university engagement, and academic sales.

4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

5. Ability to work independently and meet sales and onboarding targets.

6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software and business analytics tools.

7. Willingness to travel for meetings, conferences, and university visits.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in the EdTech industry or education-related services.

2. Existing network with universities, colleges, and academic professionals.

3. Familiarity with government education policies, accreditation requirements, and institutional frameworks.
