Position Overview:
The Business Development and Sales Executive will play a critical role in expanding our marketplace's reach and customer base. This individual will be responsible for identifying and onboarding new manufacturers and suppliers, developing strategic partnerships, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with a passion for sustainability and a proven track record in sales and business development.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Business Development :
- Identify and engage potential suppliers and manufacturers of green building materials.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders and partners.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
2. Sales Strategy and Execution :
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients and partners.
3. Client Onboarding and Relationship Management :
- Guide new suppliers and manufacturers through the onboarding process to hubeco platform, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
- Develop and execute client retention strategies to ensure long-term partnerships.
4. Market Analysis and Reporting :
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market analysis, and business development activities.
- Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and growth.
5. Collaboration and Coordination :
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and initiatives.
- Collaborate with the product development team to provide customer feedback and contribute to product enhancements.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote hubeco marketplace.
Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or A Master's degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain.
- Experience :
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role in the construction or building materials industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Skills :
- Strong understanding of sustainable building materials and the green construction industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
