Executive - Business Development/Client Relationship - Bulk Bitumen Sales (3-5 yrs)
Preferred Target industry: Cement, Steel, Road Constructions, Asphalt, Emulsion, LDO, FO and B2B industry. Petroleum products.
A Bitumen BDE (Business Development Executive) in a client relationship job is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients in the bitumen industry. The role involves understanding the needs of clients, fostering trust, and providing excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
1. Client Acquisition : Identifying and approaching potential clients in the bitumen industry, including construction companies, road developers, and infrastructure companies. Generating leads and converting them into clients through pitches, presentations, and negotiations.
2. Relationship Building : Building and maintaining long-term relationships with existing clients by understanding their needs, offering personalized solutions, providing ongoing support, and addressing any concerns or issues they may have. Serving as the primary point of contact for all client communication.
3. Account Management : Managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring their satisfaction with the company's products or services. Regularly meeting with clients to review their requirements, provide updates on new offerings, address any challenges, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
4. Market Research : Conducting market research to identify potential business opportunities, industry trends, and customer preferences. Gathering and analyzing data on competitor activities, pricing, and market demand to develop strategies for customer retention and growth.
5. Sales Forecasting and Reporting : Forecasting and tracking sales metrics, including revenue, costs, and profitability. Preparing regular reports on client activities, sales targets, and market trends to be presented to management and other relevant stakeholders.
6. Collaboration with Internal Teams : Collaborating with internal teams such as marketing, production, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of products or services to clients. Coordinating and communicating with these teams to address client requirements, resolve issues, and ensure a seamless client experience.
7. Industry Networking : Attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with potential clients and stay updated on industry developments. Building a strong professional network and representing the company in a positive and professional manner.
8. Client Feedback and Continuous Improvement : Actively seeking client feedback and suggestions to improve products, services, and client experience. Providing feedback to internal teams for product enhancements or process improvements based on client requirements and market trends.
9. Data Base : Managing and updating client databases and sales records to ensure accurate and up-to-date information. And sending the sales report on daily basis.
10. Payments : the payments need to be collected against the supply on advances, Bank Guarantees and LCs based the client's profile. if its credit clients need to be done agreement formalities with the client.
