Position Summary:


The Business Development Executive (BDE) will drive business growth across the company's diverse portfolio, including Natural Marble, Terrazzo, and Porcelain Surfaces. This individual will work closely with Architects, Interior Designers (if required, contractors), and Channel Partners to build long-lasting relationships and ensure market expansion. As a key player in expanding the product lines, the BDE will focus on creating new business opportunities, fostering partnerships, managing key accounts, and executing growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Market Expansion:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's product offerings within the specified regions (Natural Marble, Terrazzo, Porcelain Surfaces).

- Build and execute strategic plans to drive growth and market presence across these product lines, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives.

- Generate business through Architects, Interior Designers& if required with Contractors and builders.

- Generate business through Channel Sales by presenting the products, securing specifications, and influencing product selection for projects.

2. Client Relationship & Account Management:

- Develop strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and retention.

- Oversee key account management to drive repeat business and client loyalty.

3. Sales Strategy & Execution:

- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, and product) to develop sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and pricing models that support business objectives.

- Manage the sales process, from lead generation to contract signing, ensuring timely follow-up and closing of deals.

- Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to adjust business strategies and enhance the company's market positioning.

4. Team Management & Collaboration:

- Lead and manage a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs) to meet business development targets and sales goals.

- Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to ensure the team effectively represents the company's products and services.

- Foster a collaborative environment within the team and across departments to achieve organizational goals.

5. Sales Support & Client Retention:

- Oversee Pre-installation guidance & post Installation services, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing any complaints or issues promptly.

- Monitor customer feedback and initiate corrective actions to improve customer retention and product satisfaction.

- Strengthen client relationships through consistent follow-ups and tailored support to ensure long-term business success.

6. Revenue & Financial Management:

- Develop and manage budgets for business development activities, ensuring cost-effective strategies and maximized revenue generation.

- Work towards achieving sales targets, fostering the growth of product lines, and ensuring profitable outcomes.

7. Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis:

- Stay updated on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies to continuously refine and improve business development tactics.

- Use data insights and feedback to anticipate market shifts and adjust strategies proactively.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

- 5 to 15 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the building materials industry (marble, granite, tiles, ceramics, sanitary ware, etc.).

- Proven success in driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and developing new business opportunities within the building materials sector.

- Strong business acumen with expertise in market analysis, strategy development, and sales execution.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with an ability to influence key decision-makers.

- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
