Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive (BDE) with a strong background in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in business development, sales, and relationship management within the banking sector. The BDE will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities :
Business Development :
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the banking sector.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
Client Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their banking requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Sales and Revenue Growth :
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the management.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Negotiate and close deals to drive revenue growth.
Collaboration and Coordination :
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive approach to business development.
- Coordinate with senior management to align business development strategies with company goals.
Reporting and Analysis :
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends.
- Analyze sales data and market information to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
Compliance and Risk Management :
- Ensure all business development activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with business development initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Experience : Minimum of 6 years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship management within the banking sector.
Skills :
- Strong understanding of banking products, services, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
