The Job :
Your responsibilities will include :
- Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, clients, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
- Seek out the appropriate contact in an organization
- Generate leads and cold call prospective clients
- Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone
- Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
- Understand the needs of your clients and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
- Think strategically : seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
- Work strategically : carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
- Draw up client contracts
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy.
- Managing both our existing sales pipeline and developing new business opportunities.
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, and delegate tasks that achieve
Ideal Candidate :
- You have experience selling in B2B roles.
- You have confidence in speaking with a variety of business prospects and promoting our services.
- You have outbound phone-based sales experience.
- You are a self-motivated attitude towards working to targets.
- You have excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
- You have a ability to accurately build, manage and maintain your sales pipeline.
- You have previous Experience in the Australian Business Development market given preference.
- You have a good understanding of the businesses products or services and be able to advise others about them
- You have previous successful business development experience OR a strong desire to begin a sales career.
- You have a track record of high achievement.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You have the desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals.
- You have curiosity and passion.
- You have the technical aptitude to master our sales tools.
- You have ability to deal with rejection and thrive on objections.
