Job Description

- Exposure to Commercial Shipping Ops - Chartering Operation ( Tanker & Dry ), Ship Broking, Port Agency


- Business Solicitation & Operation, Trading of Ship Spare Parts & SNP Business ( as brokers only ).

- Soliciting additional business from existing Principals by expanding the range of services.

- Providing monthly feedback on each client with reference to dialogues, development and Business opportunities.

- Reviewing on a quarterly basis the progress in business growth and identifying areas of focus for the next quarter.

- Identifying opportunities and liaising with potential clients with the objective of developing new business for Ship Broking (Tanker & Dry ), Agency Operations, SNP & Spare Parts business.

- Execute business strategy & plans as approved by H.O. Delhi

- Managing logistics and appointments for overseas clients and company officials visiting Singapore for business meetings.

- Reporting to concerned HOD at H.O. New Delhi on market intelligence in respect of Singapore based existing & potential clients.

- Notifying Interocean head office about relevant business seminars and events that may be attended in Singapore with the objective of networking and expanding the Interocean footprint in global market.

- Assisting the relevant department in New Delhi with efforts to recover outstanding dues from clients.

- Acting as an interface between various commercial departments at Interocean head office and their existing Singapore client base with the objective of enhancing the customer experience and resolving any specific grievances.

- Office administration, maintenance of records, ensuring the company's compliance with local regulatory, governmental, tax and statutory regulations. Reporting to HRD and F&A in New Delhi about any changes in local compliances which may be relevant to our Singapore based operations.

- Routine business promotion and public relations efforts towards developing a good rapport with key personnel in client offices including entertainment; festive and / or personal celebratory greetings & gifting etc. under guidance of HOD's of respective business verticals.
