Executive/Assistant Manager - Sales - International Business - Exports/Chemicals (4-9 yrs)
1. Coordination of Export Activities:
- Collaborate with the Export Sales Manager to develop and execute export sales strategies for chemical products.
- Coordinate the export process, including order processing, shipment scheduling, and logistics coordination for chemical shipments.
- Ensure compliance with international regulations governing the export of chemical products, including safety data sheets (SDS) and hazardous materials transportation requirements.
2. Documentation Management:
- Prepare and review export documentation specific to chemical products, such as material safety data sheets (MSDS), certificates of analysis, and export permits.
- Work closely with shipping carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure accurate and timely submission of chemical export documentation.
- Maintain organized records of chemical export transactions, including documentation related to product specifications, packaging, and labeling requirements.
3. Customer Support:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for international customers purchasing chemical products, providing technical product information, pricing details, and order processing assistance.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns related to chemical product specifications, regulatory compliance, and shipping logistics.
- Collaborate with the technical support team to resolve customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
4. Sales Support:
- Support the development and implementation of sales strategies to expand the export market for chemical products.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers, assess market demand, and analyze competitor activities in the chemical industry.
- Assist the sales team in generating leads, preparing sales presentations, and negotiating contracts with international customers.
5. Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:
- Stay informed about international regulations governing the export of chemical products, including REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals) and other regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with export control regulations, trade sanctions, and export licensing requirements for chemical products.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with international sales transactions, including regulatory compliance, product liability, and environmental regulations.
6. Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with international distributors, agents, and strategic partners in the chemical industry.
- Negotiate pricing agreements, supply contracts, and terms of sale with international customers and partners.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote chemical products and expand business relationships.
7. MIS Management :
Maintain export data and prepare MIS as per to present it to seniors.
