- We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic business development resource. He must have sales experience in education sector with customer inclination along with passion for technology, new age systems, and innovative business solutions in a variety of settings and inceptions.
- We value Sales profiles who are excited about growing our existing accounts while proactively pursuing new accounts and analyzing roadblocks and obstacles to increase business. The ideal candidate will be innovative enough to suggest tailored solutions to specific challenges of an account. Dedication to grow the business and interaction with various departments for smoother deliverables is expected.
Roles and Responsibilities :
New Customer Acquisition :
- Accountable for development of Client-specific customization requirements
- Cold calling, generating new leads and add new prospective accounts
- Probe, assess, and evaluate the prospects to create a sales pipeline
- Educating customers about our business solutions
- Demonstrations / presenting our product offerings to prospective clients
- Closing customer contracts and generating new sales leads
- Explore markets, understand the customer needs to offer relevant solutions
- Articulate customer needs to the Project team for delivery
- Compile and analyze data to find market trends through market research & intelligence
- Good at handling objections, capable to negotiate and offer suitable solutions
Business Development and Existing Relationships :
- Find new sales opportunities and turn them into long-term partnerships
- Constant interaction with customers to seek their feedback, and review areas of improvement to meet expectations.
- Find opportunities for up-sells, and expansions to maximize opportunities of revenue growth.
- Complete ownership of the account relationships and retains customers efficiently
- Ask referrals
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, engineers, senior management) to address customers- needs
- Understand your competition
- Create sales plans to generate revenue
- Build relationship with key employees among customers
Skills needed :
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Market research relevant to Assessment, and competitive insights
- Good understanding of RFP/tendering processes
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in MS Office Tools
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently & also in teams
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
