Event Manager Responsibilities :

1. Propose trends, technology, and strategies for events.

2. Work across all cross functional teams: Operations, design, content, creative, digital, events, partnerships to deliver on all strategic objectives.

3. Facilitate events by connecting members to other members and allow opportunities for events to be hosted by members.

Event Strategy :

1. Build and create a robust database of bands, name talent and trends so that calendar is covering all aspects.

2. Vendor liaison and management.

3. Create systems to track the booking and forward planning of events so that deadlines and budgets are always met and work closely with the Lead Curator for the same.

4. Strategize to drive late night attendance of members in the club

Brand Development :

1. Drive daytime working audiences to the club.

2. Timely submission of invoices and vendor forms to finance.

3. Have regular presence on the floor and work along with member relations manager/membership team to collect feedback on events and build member base.

Requirements :

1. Minimum of 2+ years of cultural event programming or cultural event production experience.

2. Collaborative and communicates well to provide direction/delegation to efficiently accomplish task(s) at hand

3. Research as well as exceptional organisational skills and extraordinary relationship building skills

4. Ability to multitask and execute under pressure and in demanding fast-paced environments

5. Energetic, flexible, collaborative, a proactive.

6. Critical thinker and the ability to exercise good judgment and solve problems quickly and effectively.

7. An essential part of the job is being available on a flexible schedule and being willing to work outside - office hours- . For example, nights, weekends and holidays (as needed and when applicable). This may or may not be required on a regular basis but is mandatory when needed.
