Job Role:
As the Brand Manager, you will be the driving force behind the growth and profitability of the brand. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive growth strategy that increases sales and profitability year on year, while ensuring smooth coordination across all teams involved in brand operations. Acting like the owner of the brand, you will be expected to drive year-on-year growth between 1X to 10X and ensure that the brand is net profitable. The candidate should be self-motivated, results-driven, and able to create reports for management that provide clear insights into brand progress. Responsibilities :
- Act like the owner of the brand, taking complete ownership of its growth and profitability.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy that increases sales and profitability year on year.
- Work closely with sourcing, supply chain management, operations, 3PLs, listing and content, catalogue, digital marketing, D2C, and finance teams to ensure smooth coordination and operation of brand activities.
- Coordinate with sourcing and supply chain management teams to ensure timely and efficient product delivery, while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence.
- Oversee the creation and optimization of product listings and content on all relevant e- commerce channels specially amazon.com to maximize visibility and conversions.
- Work closely with the digital marketing team to develop and execute targeted campaigns that drive brand awareness and sales growth.
- Collaborate with the D2C team to ensure an optimal customer experience across all e- commerce channels, including the brand's own website.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Monitor the financial performance of the brand and work with the finance team to manage the brand's P&L, including setting targets and budgets, monitoring performance, and adjusting strategy as needed.
- Work with the catalogue team to ensure the brand's products are accurately listed, priced, and described.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth and adjust strategy as needed.
- Develop and manage relationships with third-party sellers and partners to expand the brand's reach and sales.
- Develop and deliver regular reports to management that provide clear insights into brand progress, including sales, profitability, and growth opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in brand management or e-commerce, with a proven track record of driving growth and profitability for a brand.
- Experience selling on Amazon.com is a must.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience managing inventory levels and optimizing stock levels.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices and trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to work independently, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for brand performance.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales and profitability growth for a brand
