Equinox Research - Manager - Business Development (2-20 yrs)
In this role we are looking for an individual who is a self-starter and of an entrepreneurial mindset. Given our small scale, the Business Development Executive is expected to drive several processes related to business development such as using social media platforms to network with prospects, identifying and developing a database of potential clients, using different tools and mediums to market our brand, running email campaigns, initiating telephonic calls with Decision Makers to understand requirements and introduce Equinox Research.
A deep passion for sales and the knowledge services industry is crucial for this role.

Core KPIs :
Lead generation :
- Number of leads collected.
- Number of leads processed/ qualified.
- Quality and relevance of information collected.
Lead maintenance :
- Accuracy and timeliness of updating status of each lead in the database.
- Sending timely add requests to prospects on Linked-in.
- Regular follow-ups.
- Sharing information with prospects through mail marketing tool.
Primary and secondary research :
- Quality of information collected on prospects through web search.
- Quality of information collected through gatekeeper and decision maker.
Sales :
- Number of appointments fixed.
- Number of RFPs submitted.
Attributes required :
- Strong ability in cold-calling.
- Effective time management.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Pleasing on the phone.
- Interest in Investment Research industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Graduate degree in any discipline but preference towards Commerce, Management, Finance
