Senior Content Writer

- The Miko marketing team is seeking an experienced Sr. Content Writer to use his/ her creative writing and storytelling abilities to create brand pull for an innovative tech product, Miko 2 that makes kids smart and confident.

- For Miko: Growing organic traffic, product information subscription, content views, shares and likes by creating emotive, engaging and high-quality content for modern-minded families.

- For emotix : Establishing thought leadership and an innovative, pioneer corporate image by creating whitepapers, case studies, podcasts, corporate blog, infographics, and reports and articles for industry stalwarts operating in the space of AI and advanced social robotics.

Responsibilities :

- Maintain a company blog and write weekly articles keeping variety and engagement to increase viewership and traffic to our website

- Create content for website and update website daily ensuring that the information is current, accurate and structured appropriately

- Research, develop and execute plans to increase page views, unique visitors, and dwell time and site; to encourage repeat usage

- Write for blogs, articles, product descriptions, press releases, newsletters, press statement, media reports as per the requirement of the project

- Writing marketing communication supporting brands, products, services or organizations e.g. content for events brochures, exhibitions, e-mailers and flyers etc

- Proofread and optimize for SEO (search engine optimize) each article to include specific keywords

- Keep up-to-date with best practices in writing for the web, internal publications, social media trends, and business/industry trends

Qualification :

- 3 to 5 years of work experience in content marketing, content writing, creative writing

- High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in creative writing, journalism, English, or related field preferred

- Having worked in Entertainment/ Media/ Publishing, Advertising/PR/Events industry

- Understanding of SEO principles, content optimization and social content sharing platforms is a must

- Ability to write in a variety of styles and formats for multiple audiences

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Excellent grasp of English language

- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

- Self-motivated and self-directed

- Prior experience in writing for technology brands, consumer brands is preferred

- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and Google Docs

- A superhuman eye for detail, even under pressure

- Able to work in a fast-paced environment

- Strict adherence to company policies and style

- Ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and be a problem-solver

- A grammar fanatic
