The Job
Your Responsibilities will include :
Email Campaign Planning : Develop a strategic plan for email marketing campaigns, including setting objectives, defining target audiences, and deciding on the type of content to be delivered via email.
Audience Segmentation : Segment the email list based on various criteria such as demographics, behavior, or preferences to send targeted and relevant content to different groups or recipients.
Content Creation : Collaborate with content creators and copywriters to craft engaging and informative email content, such as newsletters, promotional messages, product updates, or educational materials.
Design and Branding : Ensure that email templates and designs align with our client's branding guidelines, including logos, colors, fonts, and style.
Scheduling and Deployment : Manage the timing and frequency of email campaigns, as well as utilize email marketing software (ActiveCampaign) to send emails to the intended recipients.
Personalization : Implement personalization strategies to make emails more relevant and appealing to individual recipients. This may involve dynamic content, product recommendations, or personalized subject lines.
Testing and Optimization : Conducting A/B tests to optimize various email elements, such as subject lines, and calls to action. And content, based on data and performance metrics.
List Management : Maintain a clean and up-to-date email list, ensuring compliance with email regulations, and managing subscriptions, bounces, and unsubscribes.
Measurement and Reporting : Track the performance of email campaigns by analyzing key metrics like open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and revenue generated. Preparing reports to gauge success of campaigns.
Compliance : Ensure that email campaigns comply with legal regulations and industry standards, such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CASL.
Automation : Implement and manage email marketing automation tools to streamline processes and send triggered emails, such as welcome messages, abandoned cart reminders, or follow-up sequences.
Feedback and Improvement : Gather and analyze feedback from recipients and stakeholders to make data-driven improvements to email campaigns and strategies.
Integration : Collaborate with other departments or teams, such as sales, customer support, or IT, to integrate email marketing with broader business goals and systems.
Ideal Candidate :
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
- 5 years of proven experience in email marketing, including campaign strategy, execution, and analysis.
- 2-3 years of experience in Information Product Experience.
- Proficiency in Active Campaign (email marketing tool).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on email marketing data.
- Excellent copywriting and content creation skills.
- Knowledge of email marketing best practices and industry trends.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of the company and its founders.
