Elucidata - Associate - Business Development (1-4 yrs)
About the Role:
Elucidata is looking to hire a full-time Business Development Representative to accelerate the growth of our Sales function. Together with our marketing and inside sales team you will be actively involved in converting leads to customers, identifying key business opportunities & working upon them. We are looking for highly motivated and innovative folks who can help us identify the business opportunities & operational challenges that we can overcome.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to prospects & Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement
- Identify the needs and challenges of the prospective customer & Schedule discovery meetings for sales representatives and prospects
- Ensure seamless communication between the marketing and sales teams
- Filter leads into genuine and pseudo leads, thereby, Convert Marketing Qualified leads into Sales Qualified leads
- Run strategic follow ups (Calls/texts/emails) on the prospects to get in maximum sales
- Run Qualification Calls with SQLs to understand the needs of the prospect before passing on opportunities to Account Executives and Technical Sales
- Strive to achieve the sales targets, in terms of leads generated, qualified and discovery calls scheduled.
- Provide reports and statistics about the lead generation, lead velocity & ratios to the key stakeholders to draw actionable insights from them.
Qualifications:
- Background in Life Sciences, Biotech, Engineering, Applied Sciences or similar fields is a good to have. A Master's in Business Administration, Business Consulting, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- 1+ years of relevant experience in a BDR or similar role, preferably in the SaaS Biotech industry
- Hands on experience with Salesforce, MS Excel, Email Marketing tools, Zoominfo, Email tools like outreach
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- In-depth understanding of the high-technology B2B sales processes
- Strong business acumen; proven ability to effectively scrutinize and challenge assumptions and interpret the strategy and priorities of the organization.
- Excellent project management and consultative skills; demonstrated track record and ability to manage competing priorities
