Efficient Bazaar - Assistant Category Manager (2-8 yrs)
Efficient Bazaar (EB) is the new way of B2B procurement in the HoReCa (Hotels / Restaurants / Caterers) industry. Duties and responsibilities :
- Overall PnL owner of the assigned category internally, partners and brands
- Drives Business growth, and Market Share of the Category with strong product, competition and consumer analytics
- Contributes in development of Periodic Financial Plans and Projections
- Contributes in the product communication development on the site
- Identify merchant partners for the category under the marketplace model
- Source catalogues of national brands, smaller brands & private labels for the category and ensure availability of a wide variety of products on the marketplace
- Contributes in creation of sales plans and completely owns up the execution of the same to maximize sell-through of the inventory made available to sell
- Work with QC executive to get the catalogues live on the marketplace
- Be the SPOC (Single Point of contact) of the category for internal teams and for merchant partners and handle the operations, resolve issues and drive the day-day sales for the category
- To ensure the accuracy and timelines of all product launches, marketing campaigns and other customer interaction
- Position and present products within the online store in ways that exceed expectations such as conversion, average order size, average order value, customer service demand and are additive to the overall brand positioning
- Identify unique, under developed, emerging or new, products or categories, based on statistical analysis, competitive landscape, customer feedback, web analytics. Communicate to and work with company merchants to execute opportunities
- Work closely with digital marketing team to provide merchandising vision to email, search and offline sales campaigns
Key Deliverable's :
- Deliver the business metrics for the category - Availability (# of listings, stock availability, # of merchant partners), Sales (GMV, Qty Sold) and Profitability (% gross margins)
- Maintain the balance between MOM growth for current sellers and avoiding seller concentration by getting new sellers for the category while growing business for current sellers
- Reduce churn of the Top sellers keep all the top sellers engaged with the marketplace through daily interaction on live catalogues, introducing new catalogues and deals
