Responsibilities:

Copyediting Excellence :

- Copyedit project deliverables to house style; rewrite, where necessary

- Detect and correct grammar and mechanics, and word choice to ensure clarity, readability, coherence, and flow

- Check references, stats, facts, dates and maintain knowledge of market trends in the fields we serve

- Provide constructive feedback that will improve research and writing

- Manage daily editorial responsibilities while adhering to deadlines

- Manage key stakeholders by sector/practice area to ensure expectations are met/exceeded, timelines are heeded

- Develop excellent quality content

- Work with a global team of experts to create a powerful customer experience

Qualifications:

- Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, and vocabulary.

- Strong writing and reading skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify problematic phrasing or content that may require revision.

- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in copyediting or copywriting in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; experience in newspapers, magazines, competitive language test preparation, or English instruction is a plus.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English Literature or a related field.

- Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) and APA formatting.

- Proficiency with WordPress and experience using tools like Grammarly is essential.

- Strong computer literacy, with advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

- Positive, energetic, self-motivated attitude with a strong sense of teamwork.

- Well-organized and detail-oriented, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

- Able to multi-task effectively while maintaining high-quality standards.
