Job description
As part of our business plan we are looking for a young, dynamic, result oriented Senior Business Development Manager for Mumbai
These positions reports to the concerned Regional Head
Job Responsibilities & Accountability :
Candidate would be accountable for following activities :
- Generate business funnel for the region and achieve the assigned billing and order booking targets for the assigned region
- Devise the appropriate business strategy for the assigned area
- Meeting and developing relationships with the prospective clients (both in private & Govt Sector) in the state
- Keep a track of Government schemes, budgets and business opportunities relevant to Education Sector
- Support and review the implementation and monitoring activities for the new/ongoing projects in the region
- To send the required plans, reports, and information to the central team
- Making/ presenting/ proposals/ concept notes and representing the Company at various forums
Qualification and Experience
- Post Graduate preferably MBA in Marketing, having 5-10 years of work experience preferably in Education /IT / Service Sector
- Should have experience in dealing with Government/Institutional clients
Skills and Attributes :
Candidate must possess/exhibit the following skill sets:
- Interpersonal skills, public speaking, presentation and listening skills
- Appropriate insight of Education, Training and IT sector
- Understanding of potential market segment / potential customers/Government and corporate processes
- Fluency in English and local language
- Network building capabilities to establish relationships with high level government Officials, Vendors and other team members
- Willing to travel extensively even on short notices
