ECESIS - Lead/Manager - Search Engine Optimization/Search Engine Marketing (5-8 yrs)
Lead Manager - SEO/SEM
Key Responsibilities :
Strategy :
- Implementing appropriate strategies for the websites, m-sites, and apps. Develop and maintain SEO strategic roadmap on content creation, linking and distribution.
- Create and/or modify the existing technical architecture to achieve desired growth rates for quality traffic.
- Develop plans for both offsite and onsite activities and also the interactions that build ranking, profile, and traffic.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute successful SEO strategies, both On-page & Off-page for various clients.
- On-Page analysis will include management of title & meta tags, keywords, content, duplication, internal linking, tags, page load speed, website structure, breadcrumbs, robots.txt, sitemap, etc.
- Off-Page analysis will include management of backlinks quantity & quality, anchor text diversity, social signals, online reputation, etc.
- Prioritise SEO tasks according to ease of implementation and SEO impact.
- Coordinate with the client's technical team on technical fixes and implementation.
- Conduct keyword research to guide content teams.
- Collect data and report on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects.
- Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels in order to improve rankings.
- Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically and identify and resolve problems.
- Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills.
- Well versed with Microsoft Excel for data analysis & extracting useful insights.
- Being dynamic & knowing the latest SEO strategies & technologies and using them for efficient project delivery.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills along with a holistic understanding of online marketing concepts.
- Deep knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console, Semrush, Moz, Ahrefs and other useful SEO tools.
- Knowledge of basic html, javascript and php coding would be a bonus.
- Passionate to grow, hunger to learn more and always striving to improve what exists.
- Ability to read between the lines, identify searcher intent, navigate the maze of keywords to filter opportunities from data & turn keywords into stories
- Basic understanding of HTML, Javascript, CSS and Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Hands-on experience with digital marketing - Facebook, Instagram, AdWords
- Strong knowledge of coding, search engine algorithms, and website architecture from a SEO perspective with the ability to provide top notch recommendations.
Innovation :
- Gathering new SEO skills that will give the company a competitive edge by effectively maintaining high search rankings and promoting organic visits over the competition.
- Oversee the research of best practices, popular keywords, and other useful metrics.
Analytics :
- Conduct SEO analyses for trends using tools such as SEOMoz, SemRush, Omniture, Google Analytics, Coremetrics, Webmaster tools, Buzzstream, and Others. Building reports using Excel as well as reporting/dashboarding tools.
People Management :
- Spearhead all activities of the SEO department and directly supervise the SEO team. Set quarterly and yearly SEO department performance targets and ensures all campaigns run within the budgets and deadlines. Mentor the SEO team by guiding them in the execution of their functions and constantly ensuring improvement in their professional skills.
Communication :
- Communicate SEO plan with the head of Marketing, Technology, Product, Content, and Business Heads to oversee the follow-through of these plans with all teams
Required Qualifications:
- B.Tech graduates
- MBA Preferred
- Certifications in SEO and SEM tools preferred
- On hand experience in handling SEO campaigns for international clients
