Who we are :

EC-Council group is made up of several entities that all help serve the same goal which is to create a better, safer cyber world through awareness and education. We are one of the largest cyber security training and certification bodies globally and this line of business will be the focus of this role.

EC-Council creates content and certifications that are delivered through our channel of authorized training centers that consists of over 700 partners representing over 2,000 physical locations in more than 145 countries across the globe. Our certification programs are recognized worldwide and have received endorsements from various government agencies, including the United States Federal Government (via the Montgomery GI Bill), the National Security Agency (NSA), the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) and GCHQ. EC-Council has received accreditation from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for our coveted CEH, CCISO, CHFI, and CND programs. We have so far certified over 220,000 professionals in various e-business and cyber security skills and are hoping that the new hire will help grow our European exposure.

The Role :

- This is a unique opportunity as you will be solely responsible for the building and growing the marketing strategy for EC-Council University. This role requires a self-starter with a proactive mindset as the strategy will be yours to build and own. Responsibilities include:

- Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies

- Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics

- Working in partnership with the creative team, develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-- facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets

- Manage content and updates for customer and internal touch points, establishing budget guidelines, participating in events, documenting business processes, and providing additional sales support

- Develop advertising and marketing collateral such as websites, brochures, handouts, technical instructions, promotional videos & photographs.

- Running marketing campaigns through digital and offline channels.

- Manage the content on our website and through other relevant web channels.

- Write, share and approve digital content for various social media platforms.

- Measuring and reporting on campaign activity, being able to scale campaigns to deliver ROI.

- Regularly analyse and report on media coverage concerning ECCU and developments in the cyber security sector.

- Researching, writing and distributing press releases and white papers to targeted media and audiences.

- Organising events including conferences, exhibitions and open days.

- Prepare and develop strategies around internal communications.

- Work with existing and new partners on their marketing campaigns and how they can improve their go to market strategy.

Key Requirements :

- Post Graduate, preferably in a Marketing, Public Relations or Communications.

- 3-5 Year Experience in Marketing

- Excellent writing, editing and communication skills

- Proficiency in understanding all primary social media platforms and tracking results

- Must be innovative and creative in their writing style/designs

- Managed websites, SEO and social media channels.

- Ability to think strategically from a business perspective across multiple territories and be creative in their problem solving

- Have worked with all levels (whether it be the CEO or direct sales) within multiple teams

- Strong interpersonal and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work in team as well as independently.

- Be proactive, reliable, responsible and accurate with an attention to detail.

Desirable Skills :

- Languages may be beneficial when dealing with other European markets

- Experience in European marketing would also be beneficial.
