e-con Systems - Head - Demand Generation (8-10 yrs)
We at e-con systems are looking for an energetic and data driven marketer for the position of Head of Demand Generation. This individual would be responsible for all lead generation initiatives such as digital marketing (PPC campaigns, social media), email marketing, SEO (for inbound lead gen), and content strategy and creation (for inbound and third party lead gen). He/she will also spearhead other novel and innovative lead gen techniques such as account based marketing (ABM), intent based marketing, podcasts, content syndication, automation tools, person based marketing etc.
The primary focus of the role will be on full funnel marketing to maintain an active and continuous marketing and sales funnel. This person will also be responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of all lead generation efforts by measuring marketing ROI through metrics and KPIs such as CPL (cost per lead), TAT (turnaround time), lead conversion etc.
Key responsibilities :
- Head a team of digital marketing and lead generation professionals to generate high intent leads by leveraging multiple components in the MarTech stack.
- Consistently generate marketing qualified leads (MQLs) that have high conversion potential to create a steady pipeline of sales qualified leads (SQLs).
- Strategize and execute goal oriented SEO programs to improve e-con's digital footprint in order to enhance inbound lead generation as well as brand awareness.
- Act as the budget owner for PPC campaigns by meticulously distributing the digital marketing budget across google adwords, LinkedIn, third party banner ads etc. to achieve maximum ROI.
- Build and maintain the outbound email lead engine by front ending targeted as well as mass email campaigns that cut across multiple industry segments. Collaborate and brainstorm with the product management, sales and product marketing teams to build strategic account lists and email content to drive call to action.
- Improve e-con's market penetration by identifying industry groups, thought leaders and influencers who can enhance our brand perception.
- Discover and evaluate new lead generation platforms and partners who can amplify e-con's growth hacking efforts.
- Measure, analyse and report key result driven lead gen metrics such as cost per MQL, cost per SQL, average turnaround time, lead potential, lead to MQL conversion, MQL to SQL conversion, content effectiveness etc.
- Devise a content strategy in line with e-con's demand generation goals. Lead content creation for each stage of the marketing funnel - Top of the Funnel (ToFu), Middle of the Funnel (MoFu), and Bottom of the Funnel (BoFu).
- Anchor thought leadership content creation with different content types such as whitepapers, point of view documents, podcasts, webinars, panel discussions etc.
- Review and proofread all types of content - including content shared by other teams - to make sure e-con's content is of high quality and world class.
- Optimize content marketing activities across the entire marketing spectrum to improve the content function's business impact.
Desired qualifications and skills :
- A full-time degree with 8+ years of experience in a sales. lead generation, inside sales, or digital marketing role. An MBA in sales/marketing would be preferred.
- Highly driven, enthusiastic and should possess the ability to take ownership to work with multiple teams to achieve e-con's pipeline targets.
- Deep knowledge in various lead generation methodologies such as social media, AdWords, email marketing, ABE (account based engagement), intent based marketing etc.
- Conceptually strong in SEO with a thorough understanding of marketing analytics and SEO tools such as google analytics, google keyword planner, ahrefs etc.
- Experience in managing paid campaigns across multiple platforms to generate qualified leads.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working across multiple marketing channels and content types, especially thought leadership content such as podcasts, whitepapers, point of view documents etc.
- Experience in managing lead gen campaigns using novel and innovative platforms mentioned earlier in this document will be an added advantage.
- Well organized, proactive and should have the ability to track and measure ROI of all demand generation activities.
- Number oriented with good analytical skills to derive actionable insights out of various reports.
- Ability to work with the senior leadership to suggest improvements to lead generation, content generation and branding activities.
