DRE Motors - Market Research Analyst (1-3 yrs)
Job Description :
The market analyst will be the expert in electrification & mobility services in understanding the Indian market, regional differences, trends and the competitor landscape. The go-to person for deep market understanding, they will provide insights to inform strategy development, strategy evolution and business development opportunities. They will model the relevant, evolving electrification value chains and provide Indian input on value pools in other areas within Asia, Europe and USA market.
Key Accountabilities :
- Own and deliver market analysis as part of the Indian and global market launch design and rollout
- Build a competitive advantage for DRE EV by providing superior market insight into the Indian EV market
- Monitor worldwide electrification developments to identify emerging trends and opportunities
- Monitor and assess activity by both traditional competitors and new global entrants to the Indian market
- Understanding of market dynamics, pricing, margin and value capture as well as technology developments and the evolution of alliances and partnerships
- Conduct market research into specific customer and consumer needs and access industry, academic and technical papers of relevance
- Work with other members of the DRE and the business to identify existing and emerging - customer pain points- and resulting business opportunities
- Strategy input and periodic review and re-evaluation of strategic output
- Develop models and provide insightful analysis of the impact of emerging trends on electrification and mobility value chains
- Preparation of materials for governance, internal and external meetings with potential partners
- Establish productive relations with our stakeholders: SMEs, large businesses and city authorities
- Competitor analysis of the electrification landscape and close working with other competitor intelligence across the group
Essential Experience :
- Strong track record of developing market analysis and customer insight generating material value - in a customer facing business
- Understanding of market research tools and protocols and techniques for insight generation
- Highly analytical and able to analyse large amounts of data and to see the big picture
- Ability to identify opportunities for commercial advantage and build models to support them
- Ability to build strong enduring relationships across the business and with third parties
- Track record of thriving in a fast paced highly ambiguous environment
- Excellent presentation skills and mastery of Excel models and PowerPoint
- Experience of building commercial models to demonstrate sources of value, monetisation mechanisms and revenues
