Director - Sales - SaaS Product (10-15 yrs)
The client is a leading provider of SaaS - based productivity solutions, particularly aimed at office productivity and workplace solutions. They have a very strong presence in North and West India and are looking to set up new offices in South India to expand their business.
The Director role will head the India sales team and be a key resource in driving new business for the suite of products, and manage key stakeholder relationships across major enterprise and SMB accounts. The role involves :
1. Managing a team of 8-10 Account Managers and 6-8 Relationship Managers who will drive the India business for the org
2. Identifying new opportunities and driving business from prospecting to closing, especially for larger key accounts in India and neighbouring regions
3. Pitching to potential large businesses our suite of solutions and being able to present the org's value proposition to CXO - level stakeholders
4. Work with partners to appropriately identify competition in the Indian market and come up with strategies to defend our market leadership
5. Keeping in line with our growth and sales numbers, and aggressively keeping up with sales targets, consistently being able to forecast for the business
The ideal candidate :
1. Would come with at least 10 - 15 years of enterprise and SMB sales experience in SaaS or PaaS solutions
2. Would have a proven track record in sales and achievement of revenue-based targets
3. Would have managed a team of at least 8-10 people in the past 4-5 years
4. Would have engaged with global customers and have an excellent network of CTOs and CIOs
